The Allies for Agriculture program was created to recognize those who go above and beyond in their role as food providers. Are you a grower dedicated to implementing new technology in your fields? Or maybe you work in transportation or logistics, ensuring the product reaches the consumer fresh and ready for their family’s table. You are important to the success of the food chain, and we want to highlight you and your role, as we share with others our commitment to quality food grown sustainably.

Through the Allies for Agriculture program, you and your work will be highlighted so others can see what you do. Let’s give people outside the industry the chance to see inside your day. We will work together to offer a snapshot of your role in food production and demonstrate your commitment to providing safe and wholesome food for all our families. Allies for Agriculture is that chance to tell our story in a way others can understand.

Nominee evaluations are based on input provided by the nominator. Each candidate will be judged on the following criteria:

• The change that they affected in their segment of production
• Ability to tell their story and represent the Allies for Agriculture program
• Overall enthusiasm and character
• Understanding of importance of what they do relative to the overall food chain

The winner will select a food-related charity (with UPL approval) for the $1,000 local charity donation. The winner will receive a $250 gift card to a restaurant of their choice.  In addition, each selected winner agrees to the following criteria:

1. Use of their name and image in Allies for Agriculture-related promotion, including digital, PR, social media and print.
2. Willingness to tell the story of what they do and how they have positively impacted their segment of the food chain.
